Ten years ago, Serenity Damrill married a man she did not love. After their wedding night, she left him, but she has not been faithful. If anything, she has found an appetite for a more interesting sexual experience. A horrible secret has her running back to her husband.
Lucien Damrill was disappointed when Serenity left him, but he turned his focus to his business, the Sapphire Club. His club caters to every sexual desire a person can have. He is curious about his wife’s return, but he will discover the truth.
After a rigorous session with a club member, Lucien finds his wife in his office, the wife who ran out on him ten years ago. He figures she wants a divorce or more money. Instead, it seems Serenity heard of the delights to be found at Sapphire Club and having newly discovered her deepest desires, wanted to see what the fuss was about. Lucien is determined to learn her secrets, but finding his wife to have changed so dramatically over the years they have spent apart may just be his undoing.
A good BDSM book can keep the reader’s attention with the story as well as the sex and this one managed that easily. Learning about Serenity’s experience while she has been away from Lucien truly allows the reader to see what makes this couple tick. I got to see how much she had transformed through Lucien’s eyes and that just added to the story. Ms. Addams explains things slowly and with such wonderful descriptions that I felt as if I were actually visiting the Sapphire Club. If you love historical romance and erotica, I recommend adding this book to your collection.
