When Josselin Ancrum was but a young child, her mother was slain by an Englishman. She has vowed retribution, and she goes out of her way to train every other day with her adopted fathers for the day she can get the vengeance her mother deserves.
Drew MacAdam knows his family wants to pretend that his father died a hero in a battle. But he knows the truth.
Jossy is instantly attracted to Drew though she cannot fathom why since he seems to have a love of golf and nothing else. But Drew is keeping the fact he is an Englishman a secret, even from the sexy siren, Jossy. As the two tangle again and again on the course and in bed, Jossy and Drew cannot help but fall in love with each other. But secrets have a way of coming out and when Jossy and Drew learn how they are linked with their own wretched pasts, it will have them both questioning where their loyalties lie…with one another or their fellow countrymen.
The way Ms. Morgan presents this novel, starting with the prologue, set it up as an enticing romance that is full of danger, intrigue, secrecy, and love. I love how Jossy and Drew have an instant chemistry that fairly sparks from the get-go and had me checking for scorch marks on my fingertips. Seduced by Destiny was entertaining with two characters with quick wit, passionate encounters of both the sexual and argumentative kind, and a love that will have them wanting to protect each other no matter the cost to themselves. It gives the reader a chance to see what a true romance is as it includes all the variables that a great book of this genre should. I am definitely a fan of Kira Morgan’s work and cannot wait to read more.
