SEASONS OF FANTASY: SPRING MAIDEN
Mystic Moon Press
Rating: 4 Cups
Elana Fallwater does not want to have her marriage arranged for her, she wants to marry only for love.
Warren Cutter is a huntsman who feels as if he is tracking someone, but not sure who it is.
After Elana flees her home, she stumbles upon a magical forest and a spell is cast. Becoming the Spring Maiden, she roams the forest for a hundred years before she is discovered. Will Warren be able to convince Elana to come back with him or will she trick him into living eternity with her?
Ms. Dionne shows us how Elana struggles to be who she wants and still end up as someone else. Spring Maiden is the second book in the Seasons of Fantasy series but can be read as a standalone. I liked how crystal clear the forest is described and I could just picture Elana prancing through the woods and enjoying the eternal spring. This is a cute story that has a huge message within it, one that can be applied to just about everyone. If you love fantasy, magical forests, spells, and a fairytale setting you will like this story as well.
