When he wrote the letter, Jonathan knew there would be repercussions, although he would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Now that she is here in his arms, Jonathan cannot wait to hear how her year has been.

Excitement tinged with a healthy dose of fear keeps Carrie in a constant state of arousal as she trains with one of the most exclusive fetish associations in the world.

As thrilling as it is to hear Carrie relate her tales of glorious torture, Jonathan cannot help but feel little zings of jealousy that he was not there to witness her achievements. Listening to her stories; however, and knowing she learned more than he could ever have taught her is more than enough to assuage his guilt for breaking the rules. For every tale Carrie tells, she demands one from Jonathan, only his stories feature someone Carrie will never be able to compete with. Jonathan is eagerly anticipating his next step, but the question is - will Carrie be part of the plan?

I think that the most intriguing thing about D/s or Master/slave storylines is the incredible care they take to know each other’s needs and desires. Unfortunately, I feel little of this in Carrie and Jonathan’s relationship or in her year long stint of training. I also feel a much closer connection to a character whose story plays out as it is happening rather than being told from a past perspective. This story delves deep into the fetish world, especially in conjunction with pony play, and while it is certainly not for everyone, it is a very titillating read.
