RIDING THE WAVES

Best friends are great until they steal your fiancé; making Annalee Parschen feel like the biggest fool of all. Their betrayal actually hurts more than anything, which for Annalee means that her marriage was doomed from the start.
Ohio holds one thing Brent Delaney has found nowhere else in the world. He hopes that coming back is not a mistake, or that he has not waited too long.
As far as Annalee is concerned, Willow and Jared deserve each other, and she wants nothing to do with either one. Right now she has much more interesting things to concentrate on; namely Brent Delaney, who has starred in more than one deliciously hot dream over the years. Brent’s job, however, scares Annalee to death, especially when they find out a very dangerous criminal is hell bent on revenge. Annalee wants a man to come home to, not one to worry herself sick over; yet it is Brent who learns what true fear is.
There are so many facets to Annalee’s personality it is interesting to see what her reaction will be in any given situation. She is very tough at certain times, yet timid at others; especially when dealing with Brent. Brent is much more the stereotypical alpha male, although I do like that he is completely upfront and honest about his feelings for Annalee. This story sets a good pace, has great passion, and holds your attention right from the start.
