After graduating from college, the last thing Beth Hayes expected to be doing was house sitting for her family. Wanting to prove that she is not some kid anymore but a grown adult, the twenty-three year old sets out to prove her worth.

Max Mitchell is a builder with a vision. If he can get the investments he needs, it will bring about great change for Sullivans Island.

Woody works for Beth’s Uncle Henry as an investment banker. After he meets Beth, he knows his life is going to be changed forever.

When Beth meets Max, she instantly falls under his spell. As their relationship continues to flourish, Max’s investors fall through leaving him feel as if he is on a roller coaster ride. Even as they grow closer, Woody knows that nothing can come out of his friendship with Beth. But as with everyone else, life continues on, and Beth and Woody learn some very important life lessons that will change them forever.

Return to Sullivans Island is an interesting read to say the least. While I did find Ms. Frank’s tale good, the twists and turns for the most part were not that hard to figure out. Although, there are some definite surprises I did not see coming and they will shock you as well. With a touch of paranormality, romance, suspense, and a close-knit family who knows how to handle many obstacles, you will enjoy this novel.
