Gay Erotic/ Suspense/ Paranormal Romance
Rating: 4 Cups
Matt D’Marco is a police officer who works for the Sequim Police Department. He is looking for a promotion in the hopes of spending more time with his son.
Paul Whittington is a medium and he has visions when he touches something or someone. Being gay is hard enough on its own, but knowing what your lover’s future looks like makes it even tougher to have a steady boyfriend.
After transferring to the Port Angeles Police Department and becoming a detective, Matt is thrust into a horrific murder investigation. Kids are being kidnapped and murdered. Desperate for help, they enlist Paul and Matt finds himself having feelings for the other man, which only complicates matters since he has always thought of himself as straight. He does not believe in all the hocus pocus but when someone close to him is targeted, Matt must become a believer or lose one of the few good things in his life.
Paul’s D’Marco is a titillating story and I found myself loving the characters, especially the conflict that Matt has as his feelings for Paul are discovered. Mr. Dale gives the characters great personalities and emotions that will leave the reader wanting more. The suffering Paul has because of how much his gift interrupts his daily living is powerfully detailed, making you understand and sympathize with him and his suffering. Add the intrigue, mystery, suspense, and romance and I can guarantee you will enjoy this book just as much as I did.
