OUT OF SIGHT OUT OF MIND
Choc Lit Ltd.
Rating: 4 Cups
Madison is a scientist. She works in a secret lab studying the mind. She has the ability to read minds, an asset in her studies.
Jay is a blank slate. Madison has found him beaten in an alley. At first sight, he looks like a homeless person; dirty, thin and beaten. At second glance, there is more to him, but he has no memory of who he is, or where he came from.
Madison is in need of subjects for her experiments, while the nameless hobo bleeding in the alley is in need of a savior. Jay is more than what he seems, but suffers from amnesia. Madison is not the only one taking an interest in Jay.
Ms. Waring writes a very well crafted suspense novel. Jay is definitely not an ordinary bum, and the author makes the reader very sympathetic to his plight. Madison is more than a cold scientist, especially in regard to her new subject. Both of them have secrets the author slowly brings to the surface. I find this story very hard to put down and enjoy it thoroughly.
