Alex Sheridan is an empath, although he has no idea how that happened, because he has no memory of his early childhood. Now it seems that the scars he has all over his body and his past are making him a target.
Luke Mackinnon is a professor of ancient languages. He has been given an assignment by the Army to hopefully discover from ancient texts information on the weapon of all weapons, The Oracle. But what he finds out may not be the information they are looking for.
As Luke and Alex meet and team up, sparks fly. They need to find out what the old Greek Gods, Alex, his scars, and the Oracle all have in common. They also find a bond of love between them that is sudden yet runs deep.
This is a story that transcends time and space. R. J. Scott paints a wonderful scenario between ancient Greece and modern day as a backdrop for the story. Mystery and suspense keeps you turning the pages. If you are looking for something different to read then this would be a book for you.
