Charisma ditches her body guard in favor of a solo and peaceful foray into the Sahara desert to take pictures. While photographing a sand viper, she is approached by a sexy man in traditional garb with beautiful eyes who is quick to complement her formidable assets.
Prince Shakir is the youngest son of the King of Nubia. He is fine with his station in life and has no desire to be a ruler. With one look at Charisma, he has found the one woman he wishes to share his life with, but she is promised to another.
Charisma has no interest in the man her family wishes her to marry but feels obligated because her aunt and uncle cared for her when her own parents died tragically. It will take another unexpected tragedy to make her choice for her or leave her with no choice at all.
I absolutely love Charisma. She is a refreshing woman who is strong but feels no pressure to be more than she is. She makes no bones about her body and loves herself despite the opinions of others. Oasis is a lovely story of two people from different cultures coming together and finding the love of a lifetime. I would recommend this book to anyone wishing to read a sweet love story with enough spice to make it interesting.
