NOTHING ON BUT THE RADIO
JODI LYNN COPELAND
Rating: 4 Cups
Taryn had a dream; write songs for her favorite artist to sing. Unfortunately, one night with a man who never brought her to the finish line, some cruel words, and her dream died.
Brian never forgot the one who got away. His words to Taryn on that long ago night have haunted him ever since. He sees this second chance as an opportunity for redemption, but the fire still burns between them.
Taryn and Brian have their own agenda for their supposed chance encounter. Best laid plans and all that is what they think when it all blows up in their faces; for the passion thought burned out is blazing hotter than ever.
Taryn and Brian are a hoot. I laughed at their antics, but felt their struggle to overcome the conditioning of the past. Ms. Copeland writes a moving romance that explodes into passion. The story moved at a fast pace, and before I knew it, the story was all over. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and the characters and I will keep an eye out for future books by Ms. Copeland.
