Chelsea Goebel is a young woman just recently divorced from her high school sweetheart. The divorce also left her unemployed and unsure of herself. She is quite beautiful, but does not see herself as such.

Oliver Cash is the Mayor of Savage Valley and the alpha of the local mountain lion shifter pride. He is strong, handsome, but very serious and concerned about the welfare of his town.

Roarke Cash is Oliver’s brother and a member of the town council. He is his brother’s second, but much more lighthearted and charming than the alpha.

Chelsea is on a free vacation to a singles resort in the mountains courtesy of her travel writer best friend. She is not interested in a new relationship, much less a permanent one with two men, but the men of Savage Valley have a unique situation due to an ancient curse. A more recent problem threatens the town and Chelsea and the brothers must show her their true nature so they can all have a happily ever after.

This is a well-written and engaging story with two very sexy alpha males and a strong heroine who has suffered some pretty devastating setbacks in her life without being broken. The plot is full of action and erotically charged love scenes. Oliver and Roarke might be brothers, but they have very different personalities and methods of wooing Chelsea. Their concern for their town is more than admirable, but Chelsea could have used a bit more of their attention. I really liked the other residents of the town and I would definitely like to read more about her friend, Marta. I was also intrigued by the idea of bear shifters as well as mountain lion ones in the town.
