Reporter Molly Clark has decided she is going to be the first to get the story on a company dispute in Colorado Springs. However, in order to do that, she is going to have fly, and Molly hates flying. Her only choice is a small charter plane run by Hampton Charter. She cannot believe her eyes when she spots the back of a familiar looking head and discovers the lover she ran from in Iran a year before is flying the plane.
Mike Hampton, a former marine, does not plan on letting Molly get away from him a second time. Completely in love with her, he will do just about anything to keep her at his side. Anything, that is, except crash his plane just to have time to convince her of his feelings.
When both engines on Mike’s Cessna cut out shortly after their flight begins, he is desperate to land the plane safely and keep them both alive. However, winning Molly’s trust becomes a full-time job while they are stranded. It is only when Molly begins to accept the reality of her own feelings and to trust Mike, that the possibility of a future together becomes real.
Ms. Lowery pens a sweetly engaging contemporary romance with a touch of erotic spice. I enjoyed reading about Mike and Molly’s romance. The author had clearly done her research when it came to planes and the Rockies, and this made for enjoyable reading. The characters were painted in a realistic way, as was their relationship. This book would be a good addition to anyone’s collection.
