Hannah Benson thought she had it all until the night she caught her fiancé with another woman. He told her she was frigid and that he could not be with a woman who did not enjoy sex.
Andy Bayes is a homicide detective who stopped by to see his brother when he hears an intruder in his brother’s bedroom. Seeing a beautiful woman by the safe, he quickly falls into his role as a cop and frisks her.
Hannah thinks Andy is part of the fantasy role play her friends set her up with. What follows is a night of sex so intense, so erotic, and so fantastic that Hannah realizes she is not a prude or frigid. But Andy wants more than just one night with Hannah and he is willing to find some way to get the girl he wants to realize she loves him. Before she can admit her feelings, danger enters Andy’s path and now she may never get the chance to express her love for the man who gave her an unbelievable night of passion.
Mistaken Identity is so hot and spicy that I could feel my temperature rising and my skin began to glisten with moisture as Hannah and Andy heated up the bedroom. I thought the concept of this plot was well written and Ms. Devereaux certainly knows how to keep you reading. Not only do you have the fantasy of Andy being a cop to keep the spiciness in the tale but you have the fact that Hannah and Andy are strangers who share a hedonistic night of passion. Whether you enjoy erotic novels overall or are a fan of Vanessa Devereaux, you will not be disappointed in this one. I know I was not!
