MINNA AND THE VALENTINE

Rating: 4 Cups
Minna has kept her secret for a long time. She has been trying to keep her father from knowing she has magical powers because he developed a distrust of wizards after his accident that ended his career as a dragon jockey.
Evan Valentine has graduated from an esteemed magical academy on a full scholarship, and has become an apprentice to a very powerful wizard, Thaddeus Bartholomew. He has finally met his match in Minna.
When an urgent matter requires them to work alongside Thaddeus, Evan and Minna at first mix together like oil and water; but finding out their life together has always intertwined and that they have growing feelings for each other, hopefully they can resolve their differences and work together before tragedy strikes.
This is a book geared toward younger audiences, but I think many adults will enjoy it as much as I did. A special place and time tells Evan and Minna’s story. A place of magic, dragons and wonder unfolds before your eyes keeping the reader wondering what comes next.
