Microman does not want to worry about the economy anymore. But even as he tries to just have fun and eat his lunch, he still worries about where America is going.

Kid is nine years old and just wants to understand what is going on and so he does what normal everyday kids do, he asks questions. Walt is a retired UPS driver and a little upset with the economy himself.

Microman believes that to eat lunch is the best thing in the world. He feels that no matter what happens with the government, the economy, or anything in between, we will still be America. Walt is frustrated and just wants all the bologna to stop. Kid is just trying to make sense out of everything that is going on in the world today.

This comic strip written by Robert Stern was at times confusing to me as I did not always grasp what he was trying to state in his messages. However at other times, Microman USA came across as witty, agreeable, and had me nodding my head as I concurred with what was being declared. I found Kid is a realistic character; a child who is on the brink of teen years and needs to understand what is going on in the world today. Walt is the frustrated retiree who is not sure what will happen and how it will affect him personally and financially. This book will definitely leave you thinking.
