MATE OF THE WOLF
Siren Publishing, Inc.
Erotic Romance; Paranormal
Rating: 2 Cups
Shelley Star is on a camping trip when her peace is shattered by a beautiful wolf. Running away from the wolf, she falls and when she wakes up again she is chained up inside a cabin.
Michael Hunter is a werewolf and when he sees Shelley he knows she is his mate.
When Shelley finds out that it is Michael who chained her, she is afraid of the worst. Then he turns into the wolf she ran from earlier and Shelley’s fears begin to disappear. Before she can feel fully safe a vampire attacks the cabin, determined to claim the special fur that covers the wolf’s body. Will Shelley and Michael be able to stop the vampire from stealing his fur, and can they get the happy ever after they both want?
Mate of the Wolf was an okay read. I did not find myself really getting into the novel. But the actual plot was a good one, I just felt that there could have been more flavor to color this story. Ms. Rosko gives us a tale that has some good elements in it for sure. But there are not enough good components in this novel to keep me interested. What bothers me the most about this story is that I almost feel like the tale is rushed in certain spots.
