Paranormal Erotic Romance/Ménage
Rating: 3 Cups
Heidi Walsh is a young and beautiful real estate agent. She lives with her very strict parents in her childhood home, but dreams of success and freedom. She has been fascinated with the DeVille brothers since they moved into the neighborhood.
Francis DeVille is the eldest of the brothers and the leader. He is very forceful and appears to be harsh, but feels very deeply.
Joseph is the middle brother. He is a bit more quiet and introspective than his brothers, but longs for someone to spend his long life with.
Christian is the youngest and most human of the three brothers. He is much more modern in his thinking and rebels against the rules of their kind.
Heidi has just acquired the listing of a lifetime. The three DeVille brothers have decided to sell their luxurious mansion with all of its contents. She has always been attracted to the mysterious and handsome trio and, unbeknownst to her, they are equally interested in her. Unfortunately, the DeVilles are of a royal line of vampires who are discouraged from mixing with humans, except when that human is their true mate.
The DeVille brothers are an interesting trio. Francis and Joseph seem to have many more hang-ups about humans than Christian. Christian is the most likable of the three. Heidi is a bit sheltered and naïve, but does not lack courage or intelligence. The plot is interesting and exciting in parts, and I enjoyed the author’s take on the vampire genre. If the characters were fleshed out a bit more the story would have been even better.
