LOVE LETTERS FROM LADYBUG FARM
The Ladybug Farm Series, Book 3
Rating: 4 Cups
Whoever said that retirement was a time to sit back and relax certainly never met Cici, Lindsay, and Bridget of Ladybug Farm. And if their farm work were not enough, they have taken on the raising of a teenage boy, started a vineyard, and suddenly have become available to do weddings.
With his future looking brighter everyday, Noah has finally made the decision to contact his mother. The ladies on Ladybug Farm have given him more than he could ever imagine, but he would still like to know his mom.
Everything is not coming up roses for Cici and her friends at Ladybug Farm. They desperately need the money this wedding will bring in, but the bride and her mother may be the death of all of them. With Noah keeping secrets, Cici’s family problems, and the start of an online business for Bridget, the ladies are being pulled in a hundred different directions. Between the weather and the wedding they are ready to scream, but when everything looks like it is going blow, help comes from some very unexpected sources.
Best friends always have your back even when you have it against the wall. Cici, Lindsay, and Bridget are there for each other through thick and thin, and it warms the soul to see the bond they share. I do feel however that their feminist attitude towards men is a little harsh, considering how much they readily accept the help of their neighbors. But it is the bucolic Shenandoa Valley backdrop and the ladies themselves that makes this a lovely and charming read.
