LOVE AT MORLEY COVE

Rating: 3 Cups
Reine Jonson loves to delve into the past and find out a person’s genealogy. When Stephen Morley asks her to work on his family tree, she cannot say no.
Stephen is a man who takes his responsibilities seriously but this time, he feels he has no control over his life. When his brother and sister-in-law passed away, they left him with three rambunctious kids that wreak havoc on his usually mundane routine.
What starts off as a simple job assignment for Reine soon becomes much more as Stephen and his family worm their way into her heart. But she has to be careful as Stephen has not shown much interest in her. He is used to a simple life and when it comes to Reine, she screams complicated. If he wants to show the beautiful woman how much she means to him, he will have to step out of his comfort zone and prove to her he is the man of her dreams.
Love at Morley Cove is a steady romance that continuously runs smoothly from the first page until the last. I found Reine to be a quiet and unassuming woman who seems to somehow make a huge impression not only on Stephen but on me as the reader as well. Ms. Thomas brings this idyllic town to life using descriptive words and scenery to the point where I could practically hear the waves crashing and the birds calling out. This novel, to me, is like a walk on the beach on a clear night when the sky is full of stars. It is a gentle, soothing, and romantic read that you will enjoy.
