Avery Price has had enough. She is the daughter of a publishing millionaire and his wife who think they know what is best for everyone, including their daughter. She wants to be free from their world, their money, and their stiff rules. So Avery leaves and keeps driving until she lands in Trouble, Wyoming and runs over a man with her car.
The last thing on Noah McDermott’s mind was being run over by a beautiful woman and her fancy car. Not to mention his employee hiring her to help out at his construction business, and least of all, his reaction to this mysterious woman.
Avery is enjoying the quiet life and is settling in nicely; even getting a job and making friends, a far cry from life with her parents. Yet when sparks fly between her and Noah, who is now her boss, she cannot seem to tell him the truth of who she really is; that is until it just might be too late.
What a great story; Very entertaining. A great cast of characters with what I would like to say can be many other romances breaking off into their own stories (hint to Ms. Kern)! Both Avery and Noah have life issues that shape who they are and both deal with issues that open a world that neither thought they could be a part of. I love stories that are real and Ms. Kern gives you that and much more in Looking for Trouble.
