In this reworking of Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy have some unexpected help on their path to romance, and some new complications.
Pride and Prejudice is a classic novel and many authors have tried to emulate it to some degree. This author has put her own spin on the story and made it her own. The dialogue is very like the original story, but Mr. Darcy is a far warmer character than before. Mr. Bennet plays a vital role in the story and is a wonderful character who cares deeply for his two elder daughters. The book is true to the time period and the plot is engrossing. Fans of Austen are definitely going to enjoy this book.
