Lucy Hanson is a best-selling author who prefers to keep her private life secret. She does not like the limelight side of her career. She would rather lead a simple life and write her books. But she soon finds that sometimes danger can find you no matter what.
Steve Mikos is now a publicist; he once was a Navy Seal. He is hired to find a way to get Lucy to be more open to the public and her readers. She was nothing like what he expected, not to mention the feelings he begins to have for her, especially when danger sets in.
As Steve and Lucy are trapped in a remote cabin in the mountains, they both slowly open up and begin to learn more about each other. Then Lucy’s past comes back along with those who are out to kill her. Can Steve and Lucy make it off the mountain before someone gets killed?
Lonely Hearts Mountain is a very good read. Interesting characters that can be a bit quirky, entertain you throughout. Adventure and romance add to the mix. However I did have a bit of an issue with the timeline of the story, to me everything happened much too fast for certain details. But overall, this is a good story to take the time to read.
