Tommy Skyler is constantly being teased about his pretty boy looks and the fact that he is so young. What most of the other firefighters do not realize is that just below the surface is a man who is boiling with conflicting emotions.
One look at the younger man and Shea Ford knew she was in trouble. There is something about the swaggering male that makes her want to take him to the closest bed and show him all she can do.
For a while now Tommy has been trying to get Shea to notice him; not as some goofy young buck, but as a man who knows in his heart that she is his. But both of them have secrets of their own; ones that keep them from making a connection that would bring them happiness. As one suspicious fire after another breaks out, it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt and it devastates station five. Can Shea and Tommy figure out that they belong together before it is too late for them?
I always enjoy reading Ms. Davis’ work, and this is no exception. What I love most about this series is that while most of the plot stays on the two main characters, there are enough hints to show the reader that there are future stories coming. Not only do we see two fantastic characters find their way toward love, but we get to see some ongoing storylines and what the other characters have achieved or struggled with since the series began. Line of Fire reminds me a lot of one of those late night drama shows on television that you have to record so you will not miss an episode. As usual, this author knows how to write a winning novel that will grab you from the get go.
Caution: This tale contains scenes of anal play and anal sex.
