Grace is young, beautiful, and blonde. She is not very experienced in love despite her looks. She is a bit naïve, but stronger than she looks.
Ben is an FBI agent heading towards retirement. He is tall, built and sexy and dedicated to his work.
Grace thinks that she is just on a blind date. Ben turns out to be much more than the computer geek that her buddy told her about. Unfortunately he is not her date. A tragic mix up results in the death of the agent who was supposed to meet Ben and leaves her in the possession of a memory stick that could get her killed.
The suspense portion of this book is interesting and exciting. The author does a good job of describing the settings and characters. Grace and Ben are very real. Their romance is not the most believable one I have read, but the scenes between them are tender and well written, even if Ben’s second, third, fourth, and fifth doubts get to be a bit much at times. The mystery and suspense make this a worthwhile read.
