Paranormal Shifter Romance
Rating: 4 Cups
Scarred by her past, Jenn finds it difficult to be around social situations that may include alcohol. Her best friend has finally convinced her she needs to get out and takes her to a local bar. There, Jenn finds the man of her dreams only to witness him kiss her best friend.
Matt is lonely and spends his life searching for the one. Unfortunately, no woman has touched his soul and desperation leads him to a blind date. Convinced it is a waste of time, he is floored on meeting his mate who then rejects him.
Jenn is unable to believe her bad luck. The man from the bar who kisses her best friend is her blind date. Just her luck another dud and night at home alone. Matt is crushed by the rejection of the one woman he has searched for his whole life. Jenn is dejected over the aborted blind date with the hunky man from the bar and is shocked to discover she could be wrong.
Jenn's Wolf packs quite a punch. There is a whole world stuffed into one package. The characters are well developed and provide the reader a foundation for the series of books to come. The emotions are vivid. The love between Jenn and her wolf is wonderful. I look forward to future installments of the Chestnut Rock Shifters Series.
