All of her life River Kane has been told that disaster follows her wherever she goes. Fearful of everything from bugs to germs, she has learned to be cautious of everything and everyone who surrounds her.

Spenser McGraw thrives on adrenaline, adventure, and finding the impossible. As host for his popular television series Into the Wild he searches for lost treasure and icons which are reported to be mythical.

When River gets a coded journal from her estranged father, she drops everything and heads to South America. Spenser is trying to figure out what should be next for his show when he gets a call from his sister who asks him to help River. At first impression, Spenser realizes that she is in way over her head, but as the adventure continues, he sees past her nervousness and into the adventurous soul she really has. He sees the woman she really is and falls head over heels in love and now must keep her safe and alive while they search for her father and a mythical treasure.

Into the Wild is an adventurous read with humor, passion, romance, and a hunky adventurer. I love how River begins her travels as this woman afraid of everything but as her adventure continues she begins to overlook every single bug and germ in search of more. Ironically, I thought I had everything figured out as far as whom the bad person was, but I can honestly say that Ms. Ciotta completely threw the wool over my eyes and had me picking the wrong villain. A unique tale that will keep you interested and intrigued, you will thoroughly enjoy this novel. I know I did.
