Natasha is a small business owner. She is alone in the world since her parents died when she was a child. She longs for a family of her own.

Faolan is the leader of his little group. He was rejected by the Pack because of his dark coloring, but is an Alpha in every respect. He is a bit gruff but very loyal.

Torolf is the son of the Alpha and was rejected because he was smaller than the other pups, though he is no longer. He is the peacemaker and calming influence in the group.

Ulrich was also rejected because of his formerly small size. He is the charmer of the group and is very good at dealing with people.

Natasha has not felt as if she were part of a family since the death of her parents when she was a child. She is a fairly successful businesswoman now and has decided it is time to have a child of her own, but she is not in a relationship and does not have the time or inclination to establish one. She decides to go to a ski resort known for its singles scene to find a sperm donor who she will never see again. She does not figure on three handsome Wolfen who just might not be willing to let her go.

I found this to be a very enjoyable story for the most part. The setting is wonderful, the characters are very well-written and developed, and the plot is full of interesting twists and turns and some really great love scenes. There is a bit too much internal dialogue, especially in the case of Natasha. The Wolfen culture does not appear to be similar to other works of this kind, and one of the most appealing aspects of this genre is that wolves mate for life. It is also kind of annoying that three specimens such as these are continually rejected by their own females and pack, and that they submit to the rejection for so long. Their reaction to this seems to be a bit whiney and not true to their characters. This aside, the book is very readable and enjoyable.
