Bridget Newbury has always believed her father to be a truthful man. But when he goes back on his word to marry her to the man she has been betrothed to for the past three years, she begins to question his thought processes.
Lord Curan Ramsden is a man used to war and hungers for the peace and tranquility his bride offers him. But when he shows up at home, he is shocked to realize her father has given her to another man.
Bridget is in a bind because while she wants to honor the marriage contract between Curan and herself, the church states to obey your father. Curan has no such confliction and he vows to have Bridget and damn the consequences. The passion she feels for the sexy man is unlike anything she has felt before and the temptation to allow him to consummate their marriage contract calls to her, but she knows she must resist his oh-so tempting touch. Because to allow one touch, one caress, one kiss from the sensual man will surely mean the doom of her, him, and anyone else who stands in the way of the man determined to control her.
Improper Seduction is a tantalizing tale that left me breathless and wanting more. From the first page until the last, this story had me in its grip as I watched Bridget fight her desire for Curan and face the duty that was expected of her. Curan is a man who is used to getting what he wants no matter what the cost but as I read further, I saw into the heart of him and viewed the truly wonderful soul he was. To top off the already sensational storyline, the passion, betrayal, and hidden agenda sprinkled throughout this novel adds spice to this tale that attests to this author’s talented skills as an author. Ms. Wine knows how to bring all of your emotions boiling to the surface and falling hard and fast for these wonderful characters and the story that is told between the pages.
