HE’S NO PRINCE CHARMING
Rating: 5 Cups
The music industry has just about kicked Dakota Dunn’s butt, and she is heading home to Tall Rock to lick her wounds and regroup. She needs to find out who she is before she can be what everyone else wants her to be.
The marina has been a Godsend for Trace Coleman. If not for the Dunns and their faith in his ability to run the marina and its fishing camp, he would surely be on the fast track to nowhere.
There is no place on Earth as calming and peaceful as Tall Rock, Tennessee for Trace until one tiny blonde bombshell comes rolling into camp. His solitary lifestyle suits him just fine, especially after being trampled by a bull, and having to leave his championship bull riding career for good. Despite how often Dakota swears to keep to herself and not get in Trace’s way, Calamity Jane is becoming her new nickname. She is falling literally and figuratively for this moody brooding cowboy, and he is powerless to stop her or himself.
This is so fabulously funny it should come with a warning. Seriously, you could injure yourself laughing so hard! I love Dakota’s character, she is so sweet and honest, and absolutely hysterical. Poor Trace does not stand a chance, and you cannot help but fall head over heels for the grumpy hunky cowboy. Ms. McLane writes with such a wonderfully down-home flair that every one of her characters shoots right to your heart.
