HANDCUFFS AND PRETTY THINGS
Rawlings Men Series, Book 8
GLBT Erotic Romance/ BDSM
Rating: 4 Cups
Dane Rawlings may be one of the “Rawlings men” but he does not look anything like his rugged relations. For that reason alone he has decided to stay away from the BDSM scene, as he is treated more like a pretty boy than the submissive he craves to be.
Ross O’Sullivan is shocked when he first meets Dane, but it is not long before his body hungers for the antiques dealer.
As Dane gets to know Ross better, he realizes that even by hiding his BDSM side, his body still recognizes a true dominant. Ross wants to explore all of Dane’s submissive side and he continues to uncover the truth as to why the pretty boy tries to deny his true nature. Can Dane get past his own hang-ups about being dominated and find the relationship with Ross he has always wanted?
Handcuffs and Pretty Things is one of those books that draw you into its story from the very beginning. I love how Dane is portrayed as an “imperfect” sub with the reservations he has about going back to the BDSM scene with Ross. Ms. Dare went a step further when she gave Ross the ability to read between the lines and see how much Dane struggled with his nature and what he really wanted. I have not read any of the other novels in this series but after reading this steamy tale, I will be sure to go back and get another taste of the Rawlings men.
