When Faith Aldridge drove into Bramble, Texas she hoped to find answers about the twin sister she never knew she had. Instead, she finds herself running straight into sexy-as-hell Slate Calhoun...a man who assumes she is her twin and lays a whopper of a kiss on her.
Slate may have thought that the sexy woman standing before him was his pretend girlfriend Hope, but when he kissed the beauty, he got one heck of a zinger which had never happened before. Finding out that she is in fact Hope’s twin sister has him wanting to get hold of Faith and take her to bed before she realizes Hope is not there.
The answers Faith is looking for are slowly being answered by the townspeople as they continue to think she is her sister. Meanwhile, Slate is using all of his stud powers to get her to stay put right where he wants her...in between the sheets. Both should have known that in a town where everything is complicated, their relationship could not be anything but complex. Especially when Hope shows up demanding answers of her own...namely why a woman who looks like her is sleeping in her bed and stealing the man she plans on marrying.
If the cover of Going Cowboy Crazy was not enough to grab my attention, the first line of the novel sure did. From the moment I cracked open Katie Lane’s novel, I was enraptured by the small but chaotic town of Bramble and all of its inhabitants. The descriptive details of each character is bold, sassy, and vivid enough that I could practically picture Slate arguing with Faith over the breed of his dog. To top it off, the sex and romance is enough to heat anyone up on a cold night and the other issues intertwined throughout the novel just add realism to this tale. Reading the snippet at the back for the next novel in the series has me itching to get a hold of the book and I cannot wait to see what is in store for Bramble, Texas!
