Bobby Granger is the sheriff in a sleepy southern town in North Carolina. He has raised his two nieces since their parent's death, and shortly thereafter his own wife's death. He leads a simple life and when his favorite author decides to do some research for a book in his town, he cannot be more pleased.

Allen Michaels is the pen name of Michaela Allen, a strong and sassy writer from New York. At first meeting, she butts heads with the sheriff, but after calling a truce, they begin to enjoy each other's company.

Opposite is hardly a word to describe Bobby and Michaela, they hail from different worlds yet an underlying force draws them together. As they each learn more about the other's world, will they find that in reality, this relationship will not work. Can they just live for the moment?

Fall into Me is such a sweet romance that just breezes right in. It is slow and subtle much like the slower pace of the south. It was wonderful to read about a mature romance for a change of pace, showing that love knows no age boundaries. Ms. Trent's characters are definitely worth meeting.
