Tara has tried every bit of magic at her disposal to save her nephew that got bit by the naga. Unfortunately, he is given months to live and the only thing that will save him is a rare herb she is unable to procure. When a man looking like sex on legs walks into her store, offering her just what she wants, she is pretty sure he must have cast a spell on her because what she wants suddenly is him.
Kane is a fairy warrior who has managed to capture a soul eating monster. Slowly eating him alive, he has searched for a way to banish the creature back to its own dimension. When the oracle sends him to see the little witch, he bargains what she wants against what he needs. Her.
A spell that requires their bodies wrapped around each other does not seem like a bad deal to save her nephew, but will Tara manage to banish the monster and save her heart or will one night in the fae warrior’s arms not be enough?
Magic and sex are cleverly entwined as the two powerful characters go up against a darkness that is literally eating the hero alive. While a plot that had the potential to be dark, the fun dialogue between these characters kept it light and made you really care about them. I loved Tara’s first response to Kane!! An excellent story by a skilled author.
