Maggie O’Dell learns there is trouble brewing after finding a note attached to a box of donuts. Too bad she did not find the note before she bit into one.

R. J. Tully will do anything to protect his daughter. After he is running late to get to work, he wonders if the donut package was meant for him.

Right after his divorce, R.J. was given Emma so his ex-wife Caroline could move on with her life. R.J. loves Emma and would do anything for her. Safety comes first with his daughter, especially after he and Maggie learn a possible Ebola virus could infect many innocent people. R.J. wonders if the note was meant for him. Someone is in danger, and he is not certain who the target is, or who is responsible. Nick Morrelli worked on a case with Maggie, four years prior, after the kidnapping of his nephew. He also called off his wedding engagement, which makes Maggie think it was because of her. As the case turns deadly, Maggie wonders could she and Nick have a chance or will the sadistic madman, and his threat to start chaos, destroy what they could have had together.

Believe me, once you begin reading Expose, everything else becomes second, and there is no thought of doing anything but finishing this spellbinding book. It is one of those suspense novels that is highly addictive where the reader is kept absorbed in every page, until the characters have consumed the very last page. Just as the reader takes a pause then inhales, they are eagerly on the edge-of-their-seat, hanging on for the next installment to be released. Alex Kava has brilliantly created an excellent tale. One can expect twists and turns along the way, dynamite characters, running on high octane, and a huge adrenaline rush.
