CINDY SPENCER PAPE
Rating: 5 Cups
Ari is celebrating her 100th birthday, but is still the shy woman who was forced to be a vampire. When the sexy bar owner, Jack, rescues her from a boorish bear, she knows she has found her birthday present.
Jack has only allowed him self to truly care for a few women, but Ari grabs his heart the moment he sees her enter his club. Showing her the best birthday night of her life, he knows he wants more.
Together, Jack and Ari learn more about each other, exploring sexual fantasies as they spend time together. Soon though, the vampire who created and beat Ari has returned and is trying to find her.
Ari is a great character in the style of “All-American Girl” vampire genre. Jack is perfect as the hero and my goodness he is sexy in every way possible. Exploring Ari is an erotica so sex plays a major part in the book, but it is intertwined in the overall story at a faultless level. The villain is just evil, but is part of Ari's background and important to the changes she makes in her life. Jack and Ari’s learning to care for each other and the way the relationship grows is well written, even if it is fast. The way Ms. Pape brought his family and her friends together is especially good. Even better, it will hopefully lead to sequels as Exploring Ari is such an outstanding read.
