Dr. Thomas Anderson is a pediatric cardiac surgeon who enjoys his job. Unfortunately, he does not allow himself enough time with his children, always seeking a nanny.
Wednesday has been sent by the Magical Nannies for Children Foundation as nanny for Tom’s girls. Her career depends on this job. She absolutely refuses to take no for an answer.
Tom has put himself fully into his work since the death of his wife. His three little girls miss their mom as much as he does, but more importantly, need time with their dad, too. After trying to seek the almost perfect nanny, he is surprised to find one on his doorstep. Wednesday is thrilled to meet the little girls and answer all their questions, but never imagined Tom to be so handsome. Tom is a bit taken back because she was not sent from any of the agencies he was interviewing, yet she ignites fire in his heart that he thought was dead. The more time Wednesday spends being nanny to Tom’s children, he and Wednesday’s attraction increases. Will Tom still feel the magnetism once he discovers she is not mortal?
I fell in love with this story the moment I started reading about little Jenna looking for a nanny for her dad. The visualization, with the three daughters along with Wednesday and Tom, emits a wide range of emotions. When mixed with the dialogue, it makes it absolutely remarkable writing. Everything about this story is a delight and made this reader feel a part of it. Dr. Anderson’s Nanny has all the elements to make this an extra special story that engages magnificently. Amy Hahn instills robust characters and a well-written story that drives the reader to rapidly turn the pages; one that I found a recommended read.
