Kennedy Wolfe is an Agent in Charge of the Albany bureau of the FBI. She has come a long way from being the awkward daughter of the town drunk. The last thing she wants to do is go to her high school reunion.
Damon Divine is now the District Attorney, but he was once the most popular boy in Greece, NY. His twin sister was Kennedy’s best friend and his one big regret is standing her up on prom night.
Kennedy vowed never again to set foot in Greece, but the kidnapping of her childhood best friend forces her to go back there again. Worse yet, she is forced to deal with Dana’s twin brother Damon. She had a huge crush on him and was in heaven when he asked her to the prom. Her illusions shattered and she left town after he stood her up, but she is a different person now and immune to Damon Divine, or so she hopes.
This is a very well written romantic suspense tale with believable characters and a gripping plot. Kennedy and Damon have some serious chemistry throughout the story no matter how hard she fights against it. The suspense part of the story is as involving as the love story, and I read this one in one sitting. The small town setting during a high school reunion is perfect for this tale. This author is definitely one to watch out for.
