Laura is a woman on a mission. Her past has been withheld by those she called family, but now she knows and she is determined to find out the truth of the matter.
Ian is ready for a fresh start but first he is going to give himself a bit of a vacation. When Ian meets Laura he feels it is destiny, but it just might not be a good thing.
Past and present ebbs and flows like the waves of the ocean. Laura and Ian will have to decide if it will lift them up or drown them. In the end it will be for them to decide if their destiny will be different than the ones which came before.
Daughters of the Sea is an interesting read. The snippets of the past mingled with the story of the present make the reader feel the story from both the past and present. I found the story dragged in areas and only the determination to find out what happens kept me reading on. The story is one worth reading but stick with it until the end to truly understand how history has the potential for repeating itself.
