Noble Intentions, Book 3
Rating: 4 Cups
Kaitlin is nobly born but a fallen woman. She is working as a companion to her friend Violet and in hiding from her fiancé. She is doing her best not to attract attention with little success.
Edward, the Dark Duke of Moncrieff is a wealthy rake with a secret; he writes erotic romances. He is tall, dark, and brooding.
The Duke of Moncrieff’s home has been invaded by his wild cousins, his aunt, and a mousy companion. As if it is not bad enough that his illustrator has killed himself in a reckless accident, Edward has writer’s block, and the hellions who are his male cousins are destroying his home and his peace. They are not the only ones disturbing his life since the companion is not as mousy as she seems at first and is definitely no innocent.
Ms. York has written an erotically charged story that is impossible to put down. Kaitlin is a strong and opinionated heroine with a noble streak. Edward is determined to seduce her and ends up being seduced. Edward’s family and their antics add comic relief to the story, and there is an added element of suspense and danger at the end of the story. The only criticism I have for this book is that I wanted more. I have already bought the previous two books and cannot wait for the next installment of the series.
