Midnight is a slave to Master Julius whom he has to thank for his entrance into eternity. But there is one man who was his last mortal lover, and the man he is unable to let go of.
Danger is shocked to find the love of his life wandering the halls after midnight. Midnight fears that Danger has no memory of him, but he is unable to ever forget Danger.
Midnight has to find a way out of the Masters lair, or he is unsure he can go on. Finding Danger leads him down the path of either freedom or misery; which will it be?
Dangerously Midnight is an excellent beginning to a beautiful love story. I enjoyed the characters as well as the world they live in. Buffy Christopher has a beautiful voice and can tell a story with an amazing talent. Unfortunately, I am rather disappointed in the abrupt ending. I do love series books but each should be able to wrap up but leave a tidbit to bring me back rather than looking around asking myself if the characters ever resolve their immediate issues. I cautiously recommend Dangerously Midnight with the caveat that it has a rather abrupt ending.
