Looking out over the ocean, Dr. Connor MacKenzie tries to put the past behind him and move forward. Losing Aaron was agony, but it is time to regain his life.
He will think of his future later, but for right now, Nathan Grant only wants a little fun in the sun with the gorgeous hottie he saw boarding the ship.
Maybe his friends were right in setting him up to take this cruise, because Connor cannot imagine having done this on his own. A GLBT cruise is one thing, but bed hopping is just not his style, so when a sexy young man propositions him for a week of one on one, he decides to go for it. No past, only the present, is what Nathan and Connor agree to for the week, but one’s past has a very troubling way of creeping into the fun. What is the possibility of taking two fractured men, when one has lost a love, and the other his livelihood, and making a whole?
A floating pleasure ship is a fantastic venue for a holiday romance, and these two sexy young men are in dire need of an escape from their day-to-day lives. Nathan takes on the role of the campy young stud looking for a lover, and he plays his role wonderfully, but always with style and affection. Connor is the more reserved distinguished partner, yet he cares with his whole being, and you fall for him instantly. Their lives beyond the ship are kept short and to the point, and I would love to see their story continue on the mainland.
