Rebecca Rankin has never known anyone who adored the rodeo as much as Spencer. She believes him to be the best bull rider ever. As a photographer, she gathers great coverage of his rodeo events.
Spencer Cole insists Becca is his good luck charm. Then again, sometimes riding a bull does not always produce the best of luck when he suffers a terrible head injury.
Spencer never imagined the meanest of the bulls would end up giving him a severe concussion. He throws his heart and soul into the rodeo, with bull riding being the only life he knows. With some torn ligaments and a few surgeries, he has no one to be there for him during his physical therapy. Becca realizes Spencer is going through a rough time and does not mind stepping up to offer assistance. As the two work together to strengthen Spencer back to normal, Spencer never imagined falling in love would be more painful than bull riding, but discovering something with Becca was indeed true riches.
Cowboy Blues is a magnificent ride that this reader enjoyed. The way Spencer tried to deal with the situation the best he could, when he loved the rodeo, did indeed demonstrate a hard choice for him to try to understand. It allowed the reader to empathize with him. I loved Becca’s and Spencer’s moments of learning about the other and exploring their bodies in ways to please the other. Jamie Craig has penned a splendid story I enjoyed tremendously. The card game Becca and Spencer played was quite nice. I would have to say this story was not only uplifting and full of romance, but it was loaded in expressions and emotions that touch upon the heart. Jamie Craig tells an extraordinary story with vibrant expressions that grab.
