Daphne Morrow is always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Dumped by her high school sweetheart, she feels alone, except for her friend Noah.
Noah has stood on the sidelines, relegated to friend since childhood. Now he is looking to change his status.
The past has a way of catching up to you, and someone from the class of 1998 is bringing it back with a vengeance. Daphne is visited by a ghost from her past she thought long gone, and Noah fights for his place in Daphne’s life. Daphne is determined to cast a light on the shadows and clear her name, but will Noah love her enough to stick around until all is revealed?
Courting Sparks is a solid story with an amazing cast of characters. Ms. Vaughn works the element of surprise with an astute grasp of a readers needs. I found the relationships among the characters heartwarming. The voice of Ms. Vaughn is a little ironic, a little comical, and a whole lot of mystery which makes Courting Sparks an engrossing and entertaining read.
