Two years ago Christine Kincaid fled to London when she was told of an affair between her sister and her fiancé, James. But now, faced with new details of her parents’ marriage, Christine is convinced that she was deceived and the affair did not happen so she is determined to set the record straight and hopefully win back James.
James Buchanan has mixed feelings for Christine. He thinks he still loves her, but she broke his heart with the way she left him and the way she left her sister and her family behind when they needed her.
When the truth and lies bubble to the surface after all this time, it just might be too late for James and Christine, but can it be too late for another couple, or will fate be kind and let love abound?
Although I like the storyline and enjoyed the couple that Christine and James make together, I cannot help but feel that the story is a bit choppy and confusing in the beginning but did smooth out enough for this reader to enjoy the ending.
