One hundred and fifty years and countless bull-riding championships have not dulled the restless nature of Cody Braddock, but the day of reckoning is nearly here. The vampire who turned him and his brothers will finally pay for the deaths of the rest of the Braddock family.
Since she was old enough to understand, Miranda Rivers has tried to live down the reputations of her mother and sisters. They went through men constantly (the badder the better), and were continually confusing lust for love; a sorry state that Miranda has absolutely no intention of finding herself in.
Miranda has a man, good, dependable, and safe Greg, but she does not have passion; a fact that seems to be on her mind constantly since Greg proposed…via email. Just one night of mind blowing sex, and more importantly that all allusive “O”, is all that she wants. Cody arrives in Austin, on his way to Skull Creek, looking to recharge his batteries, and Miranda is exactly what he needs, but he finds out very quickly he is getting way more than he bargained for. Not since his Turning, or even before, has a woman so completely blown his mind that walking away is going to be sheer torture.
Oh my…sexy vampire cowboys in tight jeans and dusty boots are one sure way to ramp up any red blooded girl’s heart-rate. Cody is the entire package, from his black Stetson to his Roper boots, he has bad boy written all over him; seriously who can resist, and why would you want to? Miranda is practically begging to be ravished, and let her inner wild woman free, but being honest with herself is her biggest fault. The fun has just begun for the Braddock boys, and I cannot wait to read more!
