Celeste is a woman with a mission and a secret. She is incredibly stubborn and self sufficient. When we first meet her, she is dancing in a club, following the same routine that she has for several nights. This “Tiny Dancer” is anything but small when it comes to personality and spirit, but yet when it comes to her lovers, she cannot help falling under their erotic spells.
Jacques is a man on a mission and will not take no for an answer. When he first spots Celeste, he knows that she is meant to be his. He is normally the master of the short-term affair, but this woman has engaged him in a way that no one else has. As he begins his slow dance of seduction, he will have to prove that he is strong enough to get what he wants and that he truly wants Celeste over and over.
Celeste’s Nights is a quick trilogy of three short stories that begins the story of Celeste and her two lovers; the trilogy needs to be read in order and cannot stand alone. Celeste is harboring a secret and is running from a stalker who she must defeat in order to move forward with her life. Almost immediately, Jacques and Celeste feel a spark of desire that quickly becomes a roaring inferno of lust and passion. Armand, Jacques’ almost identical brother, is also immediately attracted to this small, spirited woman. After each night they share together, Celeste feels that she must run and the brothers instantly must chase. Celeste will have to decide just how much of herself to show, and if she can keep dancing her dance of deception to keep her lovers safe.
This trilogy is a fun, quick read with a little bit of everything! While there are bits and pieces that felt a bit rushed, overall this was great read to enjoy on a summer day! There was some MFM action that transpired that left me wanting to take a limo ride; add in the smoking hot male leads, and I wanted a glass of ice water from time to time! Celeste’s Nights does carry a paranormal undertone, but it does not over shadow the core romance with in the story. Overall, a solid romance, and I look forward to seeing where the next trilogy leads!
