Billie Awaini married out of an obligation that was not her own. Her husband is dead and she is accused. The sexy lawyer she met in passing has decided to help out, and she might just let him.
McCallister Aldin is on the upward climb and has finally made partner. Unfortunately, his success is empty because he is alone. That is, until the evening his body reacts to the most haunting voice of the sexiest women he has ever seen.
There is more to the death of Billie’s husband than either Billie or Mack can imagine, and it goes all the way back to Billie’s birth. Nothing that has happened since occurred without a reason, and it has become urgent that the mystery get unraveled before someone else gets hurt.
Bluesy Sweet will not leave the reader singing the blues. It is an excellent love story, but an even better suspenseful one. I found myself unable to put down till the very end. K. Carton keeps the mystery rolling until the very last moment which keeps the reader guessing and reading until it is all revealed. I have never read K. Carlton before Bluesy Sweet but I will keep my eye out for future stories by the author.
