Sandra Ashton is a witch. She and her sister help their grandmother run her shop. Sandra is particularly good at love spells, ironic since the widow is still mourning her late husband.
Navarre is a master vampire who runs a nightclub that caters to both the human and paranormal in the area. He is over seven hundred years old.
Robert is also a vampire. He is blond, handsome and a master swordsman. He is not as forceful as his master and has a sensitive side he is not afraid to show.
Nicholas is a special sort of vampire, an incubus. He also runs a club called the Bucket of Blood. He is nearly irresistible to women.
Sandra has been living a sort of half-life since the death of her husband, but everything changes the night of her friend’s bachelorette party. Lucy’s caters to both human and paranormal, like the weretiger stripper her friends were drooling over. Too much alcohol leads her to a bad decision to get a breath of fresh air in a dark alley, leading to events that change her life forever. Navarre, a master vampire rescues her and introduces her to his world and love she never dreamed of times three.
This is a well-crafted and gripping story that I was unable to put down. The author has created a unique world full of colorful, dangerous and sexy characters. Unlike many stories of this type, each character is different and fully developed. The plot is both exciting and erotic by turns, and I was intrigued by the interactions between the three main male characters, especially Navarre and Nicholas. The suspenseful murder mystery also kept me on the edge of my seat. Sandra definitely has her hands full with her three vampires, a jealous and sexy police chief, and the other drama in her small town.
