Autumn Rose lives in a sleepy town by the sea, but her life is filled with dark secrets. Her grandmother was murdered, the event forcing her to leave the bustle of London behind. Worse, she is reviled at her new school and bullied horribly by students she is sworn by oath to protect.
Fallon is troubled by what he discovers in Brixham when he finds Autumn Rose. She is a shadow of the young woman she once was. He must help her find the light if he is ever to help her fulfill her purpose to her people and the world.
As powerful forces move between worlds, Autumn’s fate becomes tied to that of another young woman named Violet Lee. The two must discover their power and learn to harness it. If not, the worlds will never be the same again.
I would recommend reading these books in order if a reader wishes to understand at all what is going on. The story takes place in an alternate universe of sorts in a disjointed fashion that assumes much understanding on a reader’s part. That said, Autumn’s suicidal ideations and the horrible visions she has of Violet Lee and her not so consensual relationship with a vampire are extremely disturbing.
